2015
Nick volunteers in Nepal after the devastating earthquake in Kathmandu. He founds the charity From the Ground Up to support local communities.
2016
Interlock Nepal was born by producing eco-friendly bricks, and building residential houses.
2017
Interlock Nepal sets up its headquarters in Sankhu, Nepal, with a brick factory where eight women handcraft the bricks.
2018
After spending 3 years in Nepal, Nick returns to Australia and establishes Interlock Construction Australia to sustain and support the operations in Nepal.
2020
Nick meets Troy, their friendship grows and they partner to form Interlock Design + Construction. Troy takes the lead in design, while Nick focuses on building.
2021
Nathan reunites with Nick and Troy, taking charge of operations and driving the company’s growth.
2022
Interlock begins importing bricks from Nepal to Australia, expanding its cross-continental business.
2024
Interlock Design + Construction rebrands and unifies its logo and name under the single identity: INTERLOCK.
2025
As INTERLOCK. enters an exciting new era, we would like to acknowledge the foundational work of Nick, who has since moved on from the business. Today, INTERLOCK. thrives under the dynamic leadership of Nathan and Troy, whose vision and expertise are propelling the company to extraordinary new heights.
